Do up your Bedroom Part V Bedroom Ideal Bedroom!!!

By Super

Till now, I have explained in detail different aspects of a bedroom. In this last edition, I will put together an ideal bedroom for you. With these tips in your mind, you can start decorating. Bedroom ideally is a smaller room, which can be seen in its entirety with just one glance.

  • The furniture should match. If all pieces are not in the same style they should at least have uniformity of colour and texture.
  • The walls and the lighting should spread out and not be concentrated around the headboard.
  • Wardrobes and beds are usually combined in the bedroom and are designed to make the most of the space available. The doors open with just a light touch. Interior lighting is a must.
  • Wardrobes are 1.90 to 2m high and 55cm deep and have interior steps for adjusting the shelves. Wardrobe can have two doors. It is a good idea to put mirrors on the inside to be able to see oneself from behind as well as the front.
  • Walls and ceiling in the bedroom should be designed keeping in mind the atmosphere desired. Normally decorators recommend you to paintdethe headboard wall a more outstanding colour. So if the furniture and the upholstery are already chosen, the walls and ceiling should be done appropriately.
  • Carpeted walls are another alternative for the bedroom. This is preferred in colder, more humid climates for their insulation and warmth.
  • Bedroom lighting should have a special treatment. The tone of the light should be warm and cozy. Glare should be avoided at all costs. Lighting is explained in Series IV of this article.
  • Interior doorframes should be ascorative as the doors, highlighting their design and quality.
  • While decorating your bedroom mix and match coordinating fabrics for curtains, bedspreads, pillows, lampshades, headboards, walls. See to it, you don't overdo it. Fabrics with a natural design create a bucolic atmosphere.
  • There is nothing better than a wooden rug to warm up a room. Place it at the end of the bed. Not only is it a decorative piece but also an object, which adds warmth, calm and intimacy to your bedroom.
  • Bedspreads, sheets, blankets, quilts, comforters and pillows all enter into the play in the decoration of the bedroom. See to it, that it synchronizes with the overall effect.
  • The fabric is the body and soul of the bedroom set, such as jacquard, tapestry, which shines through somber tones.

So, let's get down to real business. By the way, all the best!
