7 Easy Natural Tips To Reduce Breast Tenderness
Here are a few simple ways to reduce breast soreness, effectively.
Ladies, imagine this scenario. You are having a relaxing bath, and when you are washing the upper part of your body, you suddenly feel a strange sensation when you touch your breasts!
If this situation seems familiar, you are not alone; at least 80% of women would have experienced breast tenderness at different points in their lives.
Breast tenderness can be described as a soreness or pain that occurs in the breast region, due to hormonal activity or sometimes due to friction.
Although breast tenderness may not be too serious, it can still cause a lot of discomfort and pain.
In extreme cases, women experiencing breast tenderness may not be able to even walk, jog or indulge in any activity which requires the upper body to move, as it could be so painful!

Firstly, if you do not already know, breast tenderness is fairly normal in most women and there is nothing to be alarmed about, unless it has been occurring on a regular basis, without a cause.
Now, breast tenderness is normal only when it occurs as a symptom of certain conditions.
Breast tenderness usually starts a few months before a young girl is about to attain puberty, so when girls around that age complain that they have breast soreness, it is a sign that their breasts are developing and the oestrogen hormone is being produced.
Many women also experience breast tenderness as a part of their PMS (premenstrual syndrome), every month, just a few days before they begin their monthly cycle.
Some women may also experience breast tenderness during their period. Yet another time when women experience breast tenderness is during their menopause, due to hormonal fluctuations.

Women may also experience breast tenderness after sexual activity, during pregnancy and breast feeding.
So, if you want to reduce breast tenderness, naturally, right at home, then here are a few simple tips that help.

1. Vitamin E Oil Massage
On massaging your breasts gently using vitamin E oil or herbal oils, the inflammation will be reduced, thus providing relief from breast tenderness.

2. Use A Comfortable Bra
Use a comfortable bra that gives enough support to your breasts, when you are experiencing breast tenderness, as ill-fitted bras can worsen the pain.

3. Add More Soy To Your Diet
Add more soy to your diet. Soybeans contain a compound known as phytoestrogens, which reduce the influx of hormonal activities that occur during puberty, PMS and menopause, thus reducing breast tenderness.

4. Consume Foods Rich In Fibre
Consume foods which are rich in fibre content, like fruits, vegetables, lentils, etc., as fibre can also balance the oestrogen being produced in the body to treat breast tenderness.

5. Consume Low-fat Diet
Try consuming a low-fat diet when you are experiencing breast pain, as foods high in unhealthy fats can increase hormonal activity and worsen breast tenderness.

6. Apply Primrose Oil
Apply an oil, known as the evening primrose oil to your tender breasts, at night, as the compounds in this oil are known to reduce breast soreness naturally.

7. Flaxseed
Add more flaxseeds to your diet, as the omega-3 fatty acids in flaxseeds can also control the excess production of oestrogen to reduce breast tenderness.
