Archana Puran Singh Tears Up After Son Opens Up About Her CRPS Journey
"The Kapil Sharma Show" fame Archana Puran Singh, known for her laughter and her long-running role on the show, recently left fans surprised with a touching moment on her YouTube channel from London. During a family outing, her son Ayushmaan Sethi shared a heartfelt tribute video, listing out the people he admired most - beginning with his mother. The affectionate tribute moved Archana to tears as she watched his words unfold on camera.
The Rare Condition Revealed

In the video, Ayushmaan revealed about his mother's health issues, saying she developed a serious condition known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in 2025 when she broke her hand. The rare and chronic condition, he explained, means that her hand will never be the same again.
"She has had the hardest year, guys... I am proud of my mom," Ayushmaan said, acknowledging her perseverance. He highlighted how, despite her pain, she completed shoots for multiple films and a web series and even launched a YouTube channel in her 60s - all without complaint.
Archana's Emotional Response
Archana was deeply moved by the words of her son and could be seen expressing her gratitude in the camera. She told Ayushmaan that she was very proud of him and was deeply moved when he mentioned that he was speaking about all the people except himself. The candid moment was transformed into an apt demonstration of their strength and love.
The Incident That Changed Everything
The battle of Archana with CRPS began with the wrist injury that she got while shooting for one of her movies in 2025. It started as a minor bone displacement, but gradually, the condition became complicated and affected the daily routine of Archana in several ways. The challenges she encountered during the healing process of her wrist were seen in the vlogs she posted through which Archana's family shares a part of their lives.
Balancing Pain With Positivity
Despite all the challenges she has encountered, Archana still has a positive attitude. She went through surgery and extensive treatment. She posts moments from her physio sessions. In fact, she has inspired so many since she still manages to balance work and family.
A Story of Strength and Family Support
Ayushmaan's video was not only inspiring because of Archana's personal bravery but because it shows how family members can be an important support in dealing with health issues. In Ayushmaan's video, he not only praises Archana as a mother but as an idol who has the ability to convert adversity into a source of happiness.
While fans continue rallying around her in messages filled with love and support, the story of Archana Puran Singh reminds fans of the reality of life in the limelight, which is fraught with vulnerabilities, strengths, and resilience in the face of all adversities, as depicted by the unbreakable strength of family.
