5 Worst Showstoppers At Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016
Boy! Lakme Fashion Week fever is not ready to get over yet. This season we came across a range of splendid collection. Bridal couture amped up this time with help of likes of Anushree reddy and Sabyasachi, While we have some gorgeous moments, we also faced some fashion disappoints.
There were times when showstoppers dresses were just not up to the mark. While some of the designers showcased an exquisite collection but their choice of showstopper outfits was too dull.
We have listed top 5 worst showstoppers of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016, according to the dresses of showstoppers. Take a look at our list here...
Worst Showstopper No. 1: Lara Dutta walked for Esha Amiin in a raven black gown. Although the collection was superb, the showstopper dress was a disaster. If you stare at the dress for a while, it looks like Lara has worn a Halloween costume. The extended trail is obviously not working for this dress.
Worst Showstopper No.2: On the No.2, we have Jacqueline Fernandez who walked for the designer Rajesh Pratap Singh. Though the collection was splendid, we cannot say the same for showstopper outfit. The outfit is an utter confusion. The designer to give it an edgy touch but alas, failed. A blend of a skirt, pants, jacket, and a shirt? Who exactly will wear this in a real life?
Worst Showstopper No. 3: Kangana Ranaut! Yes, we are as surprised as you are. Kangana Ranaut on the list of worst showstoppers? But it's not Kangana, of course. Kangana walked pretty well on the ramp. It was just that the outfit is too plain for a showstopper. Also, the designer did not use Kangana's beautiful luscious curly hair. Tieing them up was a massive fail.
Worst Showstopper No. 4: Malaika Arora Khan for Shantanu & Nikhil. We were smitten by Malaika's gorgeous raven avatar, but the outfit somehow failed us. It is too edgy. And cannot be worn other than the ramp. Not a good choice for a showstopper's outfit, designers.
Worst Showstopper No. 5: Manisha Koirala walked for the label Chola. The collection was simple and elegant but the showstopper dress was too plain. The designer should have used her accessorizing skills to amp up this look.
