Ultra-Fine Anavila Misra For Amazon India Fashion Week 2016
It's the first day at Amazon India Fashion Week Spring/Summer '16 (AIFWSS) and Anavila Misra has yet again surprised us with her classic and ultra-fine collection. Anavila is known for using organic materials that are comfortable on skin.
We are aware of her gorgeous sarees and trademark hand-woven linen.
Her sarees are worn by many famous celebrities like Kiran Rao, Kajol, Sonali Bendre, Dia Mirza, and Nandita Das. In fact, Konkana Sen Sharma is a huge fan of her designs; she was also a show stopper for Misra's Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014-15.
Misra's debut collection, The Secret Life Of Forests, was essayed with burnished colors and little embellishments. Having said that, let's have a look at Misra's AIFW SS collection 2016:
She has quaintly used the shades of gray, beige and white. We can see the classic shades of Anavila in each of her ensembles. Her intricate use of fabric and neat draping has embellished the entire collection.
The collection is very ethnic in tone and seems like she has detailed out every fabric delicately. Quoting classic Misra, her collection is comfortable and the kind you can just wear and forget that you have worn anything.
