Simple Tips to Ace Indian ethnic outfits
Loved Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh's ethnic attires? Here are some easy style hacks to master the art of Indian ethnic look:
Know Your Body Type
Understanding your body type is essential for choosing Indian ethnic outfits that flatter your figure. Whether you have an hourglass, pear, apple, or rectangle shape, there are specific styles that accentuate your best features. For example, an A-line kurta is flattering for pear-shaped bodies, while a fitted silhouette works well for hourglass figures. Experiment with different cuts and styles to find what suits you best.
Play With Colors
Indian ethnic wear offers a rich palette of colours to choose from. Embrace vibrant hues like deep red, royal blue, or emerald green for a bold statement, or opt for softer pastel shades like blush pink, mint green, or pale blue for a more understated look. Consider the occasion and your skin tone when selecting colours.
Accessorize To Shine
Accessories can elevate your Indian ethnic outfit to the next level. Choose statement pieces like statement earrings, necklaces, or bangles to add a touch of glamour.
Pay attention to the intricacies of Indian craftsmanship, opting for traditional jewellery made of gold, silver, or Kundan. A stylish clutch or potli bag and embellished footwear complete the look, adding a hint of personality and flair.
Experiment With Silhouettes
Indian ethnic wear offers a wide range of silhouettes, from traditional sarees and lehengas to contemporary kurtas and palazzos. Experiment with different cuts, drapes, and styles to find what suits your taste and occasion.
For example, a floor-length Anarkali suit creates a regal look, while a crop top and skirt ensemble exudes modern charm. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new silhouettes to showcase your style!
