Pushpa 2: Rashmika Mandanna's Fierce Srivalli Avatar Is Impressive, Tips To Slay Quintessential Indian Look
Rashmika Mandanna's first look from the Pushpa 2 movie is out! Her character of Srivalli is someone who is a feminist in her own right and stands by her on-screen love portrayed by Pan-India superstar Allu Arjun who plays the protagonist Pushpa. Srivalli's latest pic posted on Instagram indicates that, as Pushparaj's wife, she is ready to tackle obstacles with her savage attitude and of course relatable "traditional Indian" style statements!
Continue reading to explore more about Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2 look, plus a simple style guide to ace the Indian ethnic fashion.
Rashmika Mandanna's look from the Pushpa: The Rise movie was essentially about a village belle who dons simple and realistic ensembles. Rashmika was seen flaunting simple South-style half sarees, kurti sets, and handloom cotton sarees. In Pushpa: The Rule movie the audience will get to witness her wifey avatar who is as straightforward, opinionated and true to herself as her on-screen husband Pushparaj!

On her birthday on April 5, the makers of the film released Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming avatar from Pushpa 2 movie and the fans couldn't stop appreciating her "don't mess with this lady" look!
In the picture, Rashmika is seen wearing a silk saree in parrot green colour and complemented the same with a matching simple patterned blouse. The golden threadwork and broad silk border is a very peculiar design detailing that often beautifies the traditional style silk sarees.
The Animal movie actor accentuated her authentic Indian lady look with traditional golden jewellery that comprised a long haar, a string of gold balls chain, a temple necklace and a choker with black beads chain or mangalsutra which is mostly worn by South Indian married women as symbol of mangalyam. The nosepins or mukuthi added the authentic South Indian touch to her Srivalli character. Bangles set that matched her saree added a sense of elegance!
Since Srivalli, the fictional character portrayed by Ms Mandanna belongs to a certain part of the village in Andhra, the stylist ensured to accentuate her beauty in the most simplistic way possible. The natural makeup looks suited Srivalli in the most organic way possible which included highlighting Rashmika's expressive eyes with bold kohl and a touch of neutral pink lip colour. A centre-parted sleek hair bun elevated with sindoor or red vermilion and fresh flowers complements Srivalli's married lady look perfectly!
5 Tips to Ace the Authentic Indian Look for Women
Like Rashmika Mandanna's powerful Srivalli portraiture from Pushpa 2? Here are some easy tips to slay the Indian Ethnic look:
Select Traditional Fabrics
Opt for classic Indian textiles like silk, cotton, or chiffon for an authentic touch. These fabrics not only exude elegance but also provide comfort, making them perfect for any occasion.
Experiment With Ethnic Silhouettes
Explore a variety of traditional Indian silhouettes such as sarees, salwar suits, lehengas, and anarkalis. Each style offers a unique charm and can be tailored to suit different body types and personal preferences.

Accessorize Authentically
Accessories play a crucial role in completing the Indian look. Consider embellishing your outfit with statement jewellery pieces like jhumkas, bangles, or a maang tikka. Additionally, adorn your ensemble with a stylish clutch or potli bag and don't forget to adorn your hands with intricate mehndi designs for that extra flair.
Pay Attention To Detail
Attention to detail can elevate your ensemble to the next level. Whether it's intricate embroidery, handcrafted embellishments, or ornate borders, these small elements contribute to the authenticity of your Indian attire and showcase the rich craftsmanship of Indian artisans.
