Masaba's Lakme Fashion Week Collection S/R 2016 Is All What You Need For This Summer
Masaba might be a few years old in the Indian fashion world but she has made a big name for herself in such a short span of time. Now and then she has impressed audiences with her unique and refreshing designs.
With her all new collection this time at Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2016, she brings us the brightest summer collection to the runway.
Her collection is inspired by the works of Matthieu Venot (an ace French photographer) & Katrin Bremermann (a celebrated German artist).
Juxtapositioning of Indian and Western elements in her collection is remarkable. The collection is dominated by pieces like voluminous garbage bag pants, Angarkhas layered with the traditional kurtis, deconstructed blazers teamed with a draped dhoti skirt, et al.
The show also witnessed Bollywood celebrities. Take a look:
