Kriti Sanon To Sara Ali Khan, B-Town Diva Inspired Golden Outfits To Flaunt This Akshaya Tritiya
Akshaya Tritiya or Akha Teej is observed as the auspicious day by Hindus and Jains in India. People buy precious metals like gold on this day to signify "unending prosperity". If you are not planning to buy gold this Akshaya Tritiya, then no issues at all.
You can still flaunt a gold hue by wearing some fabulous ethnic outfits to celebrate this special day. Let leading Bollywood divas including Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, and others guide you over the same! We have listed 5 traditional golden ensembles donned by B-Town beauties which are easy to replicate and apt for the Akshaya Tritiya celebration:

Silk Saree
Indian festivities and celebrations allow for wearing traditional Indian attires. A silk saree makes a perfect choice to achieve that quintessential Indian look. Like the evergreen Rekha, you can opt for a Kanjeevaram silk saree in gold tone to perform Akahaya Tritiya pooja and celebrations. Accentuate the saree attire with traditional jewellery, bindi, and hair bun with flowers look!

Modern Saree
If wearing a heavy silk saree doesn't seem like a feasible option for you, then it is ok to wear a hint of modernity for the Akshaya Tritiya celebration. Get a cue from Kriti Sanon's modern saree look which comprised a white saree with golden patchwork detailing.
You can opt for a lightweight saree in any chosen colour with certain golden embellishments like threadwork embroidery, patchwork, sequins, or beadwork. You can also opt for a plain saree and golden-tone blouse look too!

Lehenga
Apart from a saree, a traditional lehenga makes an ideal outfit for celebrating Indian festivities. Madhuri Dixit shared this lovely look on Instagram wearing a yellow-golden-hued lehenga ensemble. She complimented the shimmery lehenga skirt with embroidered choli or blouse for that eye-catchy contrast. Her chosen jewellery included a studded neckpiece, earrings, and bangles. Like Madhuri, you can opt for a golden-tone lehenga which gives a perfect vibe of traditional and contemporary!

Sharara Set
Pick a traditional lehenga featuring a matte gold hue to wear for the Akshaya Tritiya celebration. Get inspired by the gorgeous Sara Ali Khan's metallic golden colour sharara set outfit. The intricate detailing on the sharara set makes a perfect choice for occasional wear. Go easy on accessories and makeup and let the detailed outfit take a center stage!

Anarkali Dress
Anarkali dress is the epitome of grace and comfort. You can pick a lovely Anarkali outfit featuring either a golden colour or some design detailing in the sparkly colour. Fashionista Sonam Kapoor Ahuja looked ethereal in a chic Anarkali dress which was a fine combination of silk, shine, and subtle shimmer.
She elevated the ethnic look with the curated look, black bindi, and sleek hair bun. Like Sonam's, if you opt for heavy work Anarkali dress, then pick minimal jewellery and natural makeup look!
