Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has delivered the Union Budget 2024-25 in Parliament on 23 July 2024, marking a momentous occasion in the political and economic history of India.

The minister of finance's penchant for handloom silk sarees is evidence of her admiration for the best Indian textiles; she regularly chooses Patola, Mangalagiri, Jamdani, and pure handloom cotton and silks.
