Amazon India Fashion Week 2016 A/W: Shriya Saran, The Anaikka Woman

There is always something about the Anaikka line which simply takes one's breath away. The designer who displayed a humongous collection titled 'Lock, Stitch and Gothic' under her brand Anaikka, made heads turn on day 2 at the Amazon India Fashion Week 2016 A/W.

The 'Lock, Stitch and Gothic' trendy line represented an an era where men were the focus of fashion, but with a queen in power, women surged to the forefront.

In the true designer style, the fabulous collection which was on display at AIFWAW 2015 takes you back in time, when fashion was a form of art and gives it a contemporary modern, edgy and gothic twist.

The designer also quotes, ""For the first time, the brand debuts its menswear collection. The collection celebrates the heritage and essence of 'Victorian' fashion and showcases the beauty of amalgamating the old with the new."

On the other hand, this collection had a showstopper, Shriya Saran, who is the first to grace the ramp this Autumn Winter 2016. Shriya captivated us with her beauty as she wore on the best from the collection, ''Lock, Stitch and Gothic'.

Brown Beauty

Flared pleated striped skirts, high collared bomber and an emerald statement necklace to match, what a vivid combination.

Thigh High Slits

A collection is incomplete without thigh high slits. The model is seen wearing a fabulous gown which features a buttoned printed jacket to match.

Winged In Red

The winged pattern neckline is truly eye popping. The blood red hue and the eyes blindfolded brings out the Victorian era fashion.

Brocades & More

The solid brown hue brings out the soul connection of the winter season. To top it off, the brocade detailing on the gown appeals to the eye.

It's Time For Some Gold

The little black dress is marvelous and to add to it';s majestic look the touch of gold on the neckline and the bodice of the LBD looks superb.

Long Pleated Skirts

The navy blue pleated skirt paired up with the golden brocade jacket is worth a second look.

The Collection Introduces Wings

Since it is a gothic collection, nothing stops the designer for displaying a little winged arm design featured on a black leotard.

This Victorian piece of clothing a whole new side to fashion. We love the combination of bold colours - black and brown, and not to forget the touch of leather too.

South Indian actress Shriya Saran captivated us with her look on the ramp as a showstopper for designer Anaikka. The actress is seen wearing a black and gold re-defined saree with a tremendously huge gold and ruby headgear.
