Quick & Tasty Aloo Gobhi Masala Recipe (With Video)
We all need quick recipes during the weekdays because of our busy lives. We need things that can be cooked in minutes so that we eat healthy and save on the time too. This often leads us to compromise on the taste part. But your taste-buds are equally important and they need to be kept satiated.
Keeping this in mind, today we have a quick and tasty aloo gobhi masala recipe which will take care of the time as well as the taste. This recipe can be easily prepared in minutes and you can serve it as a side dish with rotis or even carry it in your lunch box for office.

Ingredients
- Cauliflower- 1 (medium sized, boiled and cut into pieces)
- Potatoes- 4 (boiled and diced)
- Green peas- 1/2 cup (boiled)
- Oil - 2tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 2tsp
- Asafoetida powder - 1 1/2tsp
- Onion - 3 (chopped)
- Ginger- 1 small piece (chopped)
- Garlic- 6-7 cloves (chopped)
- Tomato - 3 (chopped)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Red chilli powder - 1tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 1/2tsp
- Cumin powder- 1 1/2tsp
- Amchoor powder - 1tsp
- Coriander leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)
Procedure
1. Take oil in a wide saucepan. Add the cumin seeds, hing, onions and saute them well till the onions turn light brown.
2. Once the onions turns brown, add chopped ginger, garlic & tomatoes.
3. Spice it up by adding turmeric powder and salt.
4. Cook till the tomatoes are soft, then add potatoes and cauliflower. Mix it well.
5. Add in the green peas.
6. Then add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and amchoor powder.
7. Mix well, cover and let it cook for about 10 minutes on low flame.
8. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
