Quick & Easy Rasedar Aloo Gobhi Recipe
Nowadays nobody likes to prepare complicated recipes. This is for the obvious reason that we hardly have time for anything. Food is however a crucial thing because it is essential for us to survive and stay healthy. Therefore eating healthy, home cooked food is need of the hour.
Vegetables are the most important source of nutrirnts for the body. So, even if you are a meat lover, eating vegetables should also be on your priority list. And if you are not too fond of every kind of vegetable, then this recipe is definitely for your kind. Aloo or potatoes are almost everyone's favourite. So, we may use this versatile vegetable and club it with other less preferred vegetables to make some appetising dishes in very less time.

Aloo gobhi is a popular vegetarian recipe. So, today we have a rasedar (gravy) version of the dish for you. It is a quick recipe and without any complicated procedures to follow. Check out the recipe for rasedar aloo gobhi and give it a try.

Ingredients
- Potatoes- 3 (boiled and diced)
- Cauliflower- 1 (small sized, boiled and cut into medium size florets)
- Tomatoes- 3 (finely chopped)
- Ginger paste- 1tsp
- Jeera (cumin powder)- 2tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Sugar- a pinch
- Salt- as per taste
- Cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Bay leaf- 1
- Oil- 2tbsp
- Water- 1 cup
- Coriander leaves- for garnish
Procedure
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and bay leaf to it. Allow it to splutter.
2. Then add in the ginger paste and cook for a minute.
3. Now add in the boiled potatoes and cauli flower to it. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sugar, jeera powder and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. After that add in the chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
6. Then finally add water and mix well.
7. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame and then switch off the heat.
8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Rasedar aloo gobhi is ready to be served. This delicious dish can be served with rice as well as rice.
