Quick Rava Mini Uthappam Recipe
Morning is a rush time for most women. Whether you work at home or office, as a mother or wife or daughter you are expected to prepare the food for family. Breakfast as well as lunch boxes for husband, kids and yourself have to be prepared. In such a hurry, it is often difficult to decide on what to make which is both tasty and healthy.

If you have like 30 minutes of time in your hand, then you can easily prepare these rava mini uthappams for everyone in the family. This unique breakfast recipe is sure to please your kids because of their size and look. Apart from that, it is a very healthy breakfast option for all.

Serves: 4
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Rava (semolina)- 1 cup
- Curd- 1 cup
- Ginger- 2tbsp (grated)
- Onions- 2 (finely chopped)
- Tomato- 1 (finely chopped)
- Green chillies- 3 (finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves- 1 small bunch (finely chopped)
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
1. Heat a pan and roast the rava in it for about 3-4 minutes.
2. Then switch off the flame and keep it aside.
3. Once the rava cools down, take it in a mixing bowl and add the curd, salt, grated ginger and mix well. Add a little water in needed.
4. Allow this mixture to ferment for 30 minutes.
5. Meanwhile mix the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies and coriander leaves together in a bowl. Keep it aside.
6. After 30 minutes, heat a non stick tawa and brush it with a little oil.
7. Now pour half ladle of the batter on the tawa. Do not spread it much.
8. Top this mini uthappam with the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies and coriander leaves mixture.
9. Once the uthappam turns golden brown from one side, turn it carefully to the other side and let it cook.
10. Once the other side also turns golden brown in colour, transfer the mini uthappam to a serving plate.
11. Follow the same procedure to make more mini uthappams.
The delicious rava mini uthappams are ready to be served. Enjoy these unique delights with coconut chutney or ketchup.
