Banana n Apple Wheat Porridge: Breakfast
A wholesome broken wheat and oat porridge served with apples and bananas is one of the best breakfast recipes to try in the morning. Today, most working people opt for breakfast recipes which contain oats in it. Oats provides you with good nourishment and a whole lot of fiber content which is good for health.
For those of you who are conscious eaters, can opt for this banana and apple wheat porridge breakfast recipe. This banana and apple wheat porridge will fill your tummy well and curb all hunger pangs till lunch time. If you want to start your day in a healthy way, try this banana and apple wheat porridge recipe for breakfast.

Serves - 3
Preparation Time - 10 minutes
Cooking Time - 15 minutes
Ingredients
- Bananas - 4 nos (sliced)
- Apples - 3 nos (sliced)
- Broken wheat (dalia) - ½cup
- Oats - 2 cups
- Milk - 1 ½ liter
- Butter - 1 ½ cup
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Water - 1 cup
- Cinnamon powder - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- Heat butter in a pressure cooker on a medium flame.
- Now add broken wheat to the heated butter and saute on a low flame for about 3 minutes.
- Now add the oats and saute for another 3 minutes.
- Pour in the milk and stir well.
- Add a cup of water to the oats and mix well.
- Pressure cook the ingredients on a medium flame for three whistles.
- Before you open the cooker, allow the steam to escape.
- Now add sugar to the contents along with the cinnamon powder. Mix the ingredients well and let it cool.
- When cool, add in the sliced bananas and the apples. Mix it gently.
Your delicious banana and apple wheat porridge is now ready to eat. It is best to eat this wonderful breakfast dish when cold. So when the dish is done, refrigerate for about half an hour before you consume it.
