Pal payasam is one of the famous onam recipes that is prepared and served during onam sadhya. The festive sweet is light saffron in colour and tastes heaven. Here is how you make it in minutes.
Pal Payasam Recipe – Delicious Onam Recipe
Ingredients:
- Milk
- Rice
- Sugar
- Saffron
- Cardamom
- Cashews and almonds (in pieces)
How To Make Pal Payasam?
1. In a vessel, boil milk with sugar.
2. Wash rice and add it to the boiling milk. (or you can also add the already cooked rice and stir well until it blends).
3. Stir until the rice is cooked.
4. Add cardamom powder, saffron and dry ghee fried dry nuts. Tasty pal payasam is ready to serve.
