Mysore Pak: Karnataka Sweet Dish

India is blessed with varied cuisine types hailing from the length and breadth of the continent. India is known for it's spicy dishes and also for it's sweet treat. One such very famous and a boon to the sweet tooth is called Mysore pak. As the name suggest itself. The dish hails from Mysore. Here is the of Mysore Pak -

Ingredients

1.Gram Flour – 2 Cup
2.Ghee - 2 Cups
3.Sugar - 2 Cups
4.Water - 1- 1/2Cup

Method

1.Heat ghee in a pan on low flame.
2.Add flour to it and fry until light brown
3.In another Pan, melt sugar with water, till the mix is sticky
4.Then add the gram flour to the syrup and stir
5.Cook till, ghee oozes out from the mix
6.Lay the mix in a greased tray
7.Cut into pieces, when it has cooled off
