Peach Butter

Peaches are the very common and at their best during monsoon season. So, why not utilize this season to store some peach butter at your home? Here is a simple recipe to make peach butter.

Ingredients

5 good sized yellow peaches
2 Tablespoons of ground Cinnamon
1-Teaspoon ground Cloves
' teaspoon allspice
4 cups of sugar/sweetener
Peach juice as necessary
Water as necessary

Kitchen gadgets Food Processor
Crock Pot
Sterilized jam bottles

How to cook?

  • Wash the peaches and dip them in boiling water for 30-60 seconds to remove their skin.
  • Slice the peaches and run them through food processor for smooth peach butter.
  • Now, heat the sliced peaches in the crock-pot under a low flame.
  • After 5 minutes, add cinnamon, cloves, allspice and sugar/sweetener to the crock-pot.
  • Cover the crock-pot and let the peach butter get cooked for 6-12 hours.
  • If the peach butter is too thick add a little bit of peach juice and blend it in.
  • Fill the jars with peach butter and keep them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now let the peach butter cool for some time and keep them safely in a freezer.
  • You can use it till you taste out the delicious preparation!
