Refreshing Cinnamon Thyme Tea Recipe

Apart from the taste and the Indians' addiction to their favourite beverage, tea is also a very good home remedy for many illnesses. For example, ginger tea is a perfect remedy for cough and cold. Similarly today we have a refreshing tea recipe for you made with cinnamon and thyme. The sweet flavour of cinnamon is simply divine and also aids in digestion. Thyme helps to strengthen your immune system.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Cinnamon sticks- 2
- Dried thyme- 3tsp
- Tea leaves- 1tsp
- Sugar- as per taste
- Water- 3 cups
Procedure
1. Heat the water in a saucepan and bring it to boil.
2. Add the thyme, cinnamon and allow it to boil for 3-4 minutes. Cover it with a lid.
3. After 3-4 minutes, remove the cover and add tea leaves, sugar to it.
4. Allow the mixture to boil on low flame for about 5-6 minutes.
5. Once done, strain the tea in a cup with the help of a strainer.
Your refreshing cinnamon thyme tea is ready to be served. Enjoy it hot.
