Amazon India Couture Week 2015: Best Saree Collection On Day 2
The Indian woman craves for the nine-yard attire: the saree. This is the reason why most Indian designers showcase a ton of sarees on the ramp at major fashion shows.
At the Amazon India Couture Week 2015 day 2, ace designers Gaurav Gupta and Rahul Mishra displayed a new range of sarees which the modern woman can opt for. Though at first sight these sarees seem to look a tad crazy, but hey if you are that sort of fashion freak whose ready to try out the craziest and whacky types of fashion, well, this is you're cup of tea.
These sarees seen on the ramp at AICW 2015 day 2 are spectacular for two reasons - the sarees are made entirely out of dupion, Georgette and crinkled silk, secondly: most of the sarees don't feature a regular choli.
Well, enough said about the fabulous saree styles. Take a look at the best saree collections seen on the ramp of AICW 2015 by Gaurav Gupta & Rahul Mishra:
Pallu Decoration
Take a close look at the shoulder of the pallu. The fabulous cake like decoration is the highlight of this fusion saree.
Layered Saree
This Gaurav Gupta saree has multiple layers at the skirt. The choli of the Grecian saree is also fabulous with detailing.
Handwoven Silk Saree
This simple white and gold handwoven silk saree is elegant. Not to forget, even the pista green see through choli is simply wow.
Saree Coat
The model is wearing a bosom top as a choli. To hide her dignity,m she wears a simple see through silk coat that is gently wrapped underneath the pallu of the saree.
Trench Coat Saree
As you can see the model is wearing a see through trench coat as a choli to go with her saree. The knot at the waist is a little uncanny though.
Powder Blue Choli
To make a fashion statement, colours play a vital role. This saree is paired up with a light blue trench coat choli.
Body Con Choli
The body con see through choli is fabulous and so is the navy blue saree gown.
Backless Beauty
This is one of the best sarees of day 2 at AICW 2015. The picture speaks louder than words.
