WIFW 2014 Day 3: Frou Frou By Archana Rao
Telugu Fashion Designer Archana Rao who won an award for Vogue India Fashion took the audience off their seats at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week 2014. The colours which were seen on the ramp at the event were outstanding. The designer, Archana Roa brought to life more than a handful of colours which were mixed with contemporary patterns.
At the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week 2014, Archana Rao collection which is called as 'Frou Frou' describes the rustling sound which is made from touching different kinds of fabric. According to the Telugu fashion designer, fashion is a functional art where things need to be touched and felt. All her designs which were shown on the ramp at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week 2014 were completely aesthetic, contemporary and understated.
Archana Rao experiments with various proportions for the 'Frou Frou' collection which is inspired from oriental carpets and vintage petticoats. Each of her designs, the designer Archana Rao pays attention to an androgynous theme where there are simple shapes, crisp folds and ombre effects for the lay woman to enjoy and wear for any occasion.
At the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week 2014, the Frou Frou' collection by Archana Rao had a combination of midi pencil skirts and dresses cinched with metal belts.
