Anju Modi's Manikarnika Collection At LFW 2014
The lights went dim, the models stepped out one by one and there was only one thing running in our mind - ecstasy. As you and I are aware of it, Anju Modi's designs are something never to miss. From the start of day 2, we were excited and anxiously waiting to check out Anju Modi's designs at LFW 2014.
This prestigious event, Lakme Fashion Week 2014, which is the most awaited show of the year, attracts millions of fashionistas. Anju Modi's Manikarnika collection was a walk through heaven as it contained earthly tones that was reminiscent of the past centuries. Her showstopper, Jacqueline Fernandez, was another treat to the eyes!
Anju Modi's designs were a combination of different fabrics and textures. Her designs, which showcased a portion of gold in some form or the other, made the models glow in the dark.
The detailing on each of her outfit at Lakme Fashion Week 2014 was so intriguing that we failed to bat an eyelid. Traditional designs, modern works and contemporary pieces of art were showcased on each of the outfits.
Moreover, Anju Modi's designs were also a replica to the Indian Couture Week 2014, which was another shocker for the night!
THE BEAUTIFUL JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ ON THE RAMP AT LFW 2014
As you take a look at the Manikarnika styles on the ramp of day 2 at LFW 2014, you will find that there are uncanny resemblances of many outfits seen before.

Velvet Shirt & Dhoti Style
The velvet shirt and dhoti style is a perfect match to wear for an occasion, especially a wedding. The heavy palace designs at the border of the shirt is intriguing.

Beautiful Ivory Embroidery
The beautiful and heavy ivory embroidery on the entire lehenga gives out a nice appearance. Anju Moid's has got into a lot of detailings for her outfits.

Oxy Blood Colours
On the ramp of day 2, there were a variety of reds seen. This ghagra on the model is compact with intricate zardosi designs.

Shades Of Blue For The Men
On the ramp, there were a lot of blue shades too. This rich combination of blue and grey mixed with a touch of white with the high collar was fascinating.

Bikini Clad Outfits
The bikini clad outfits were a thriller on the ramp, by designer Anju Modi. The plunging neckline of the grey choli paired with an orange flared double layered lehenga is worth the look.

Mehendi Prints
This was one of the very few designs we saw on the ramp which caught our attention. The mehendi coloured designs were so beautiful it stole our attention. It is perfect for a bride to be!

Sheer Sarees
Sheer sarees have never gone out of style. This pomegranate coloured saree with a matching black long sleeved choli was of great hype on the ramp.

Going Stylish For Men Too
Men too should be given an opportunity to dress to impress. This golden cream dhoti mixed with a touch of gold at the borders were of a good choice. We also loved thebandhgala high collared grey suit.

Focus On Embroidery
If you notice, there is a lot of focus on the embroidery aspect of Anju Modi's outfits in Manikarnika. This blue and white lehenga has a lot of work on the neckline and the skirt too.

Red & Gold Bridal Outfit
To look like a heavenly bride on your special day, this is exactly what you need to wear. The gold work on the kurta was heavy and stunning.

Crop Red Tops
The crop top on this model was indeed fascinating. The skirt had a lot of gold threaded work in two layers. The sheer golden dupatta also had a touch of red! The sleeves also had a polka design!

Showstopper - Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez sends crowd into a tizzy on the ramp at LFW 2014. The beauty looked as beautiful as a rose.
