Vote: Kareena Kapoor In White Saree
Seems like Kareena Kapoor Khan is trying the saree style these days. At two recent events, we spotted Kareena Kapoor in two back to back desi looks. At both the events, Kareena Kapoor decided to be dressed in a white saree.
First we saw Kareena Kapoor in an Amrita Thakur saree. She wore a white metallic beaded saree by Amrita Thakur. The white saree had golden sequin work on the pallu that looked nice. Then we saw Kareena at a luncheon, held in honor of Valérie Trierweiler, again in a white saree. This time Kareena Kapoor wore an Anand Kabra designed white saree that had golden borders. Comparison
The first spotting in white saree was a casual look. Kareena Kapoor wore a white coloured Amrita Thakur saree which had golden sequin work on the pallu. To flaunt the sequinned details on the pallu, Kareena opted for the floating style. The white Amrita Thakur saree was worn with an Arpita Mehta blouse. Arpita Mehta is popular for her trademark mirror work. So, the squinned Amrita Thakur saree was worn with a golden sleeveless blouse that had heavy mirror work all over it. This saree was worn during the shooting of an ad. She completed the casual saree look with rosy cheeks, rimmed out eye makeup and glossy pink lips. Kareena's messy side swept loose hair looked chic.
The second appearance of Kareena Kapoor in a white saree was at the luncheon held in honor of Valérie Trierweiler. It was a stylish yet contemporary Indian look that was perfect for the evening. The saree had golden zari work on the borders and also featured a centre-slit on the patli. Kareena Kapoor wore the plain white and golden border Anand Kabra saree with a brocade high-neck blouse. The metallic high-neck sequinned blouse looked stylish with the plain slit saree. She completed her evening look with golden earrings by Gehna and carried a Pinky Saraf black clutch. Side swept ponytail and nude makeup gave the finishing touches.
When compared, both the looks of Kareena Kapoor in white sarees where gorgeous. While one was casual, the other one was stylish. We liked the second look (Kareena Kapoor in Anand Kabra) much better. Although the earrings and hairstyle didn't look that great with the Anand Kabra saree and heavy blouse, we kind of feel the look was stylish!
