WIFW SS'14: Alia Bhatt Walks For Masaba Gupta
The much awaited Wills India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 has commenced. The very opening show of the WIFW SS collection had a celebrity showstopper. Masaba Gupta who is the fashion director of ace fashion designer Satya Paul has opened the Wills India Fashion Show SS show with her new line of handbags.
As expected, celebrities are here to walk the runway and support the designers. Masaba Gupta who has become one of the favourite fashion designers in Bollywood had a celebrity showstopper. Childhood friend and the young star, Alia Bhatt was the celebrity showstopper for Masaba Gupta.
Alia Bhatt opened Masaba Gupta's show at the Day 1 of ongoing WIFW SS 2014. Alia is wearing a printed pink silk flared dress. The ankle length dress had black and white printed three-quarter sleeves. The thick horizontal stripes in black look chic and bold. She accessorised the look with huge retro style pink tie up heels. Alia with her pink pout lips looked gorgeous and cute as she walked the WIFW SS 2014 ramp for friend, Masaba Gupta.
Masaba Gupta's WIFW Spring/Summer 2014 collection has velvet, sheer and flowy silhouettes in vivid prints to add a spark on the ramp!
Alia Bhatt has become a known face in the runway and is soon picking up the trend of walking the ramp as a celebrity showstopper. We even spotted Cricketer Irfan Pathan at the front row of Anupamaa's opening show at WIFW SS 2014. Irfan Pathan is wearing a white and black printed jacket by Masaba Gupta. Even fashion designer Wendell Rodricks was spotted in the front row at the very opening show of WIFW.
Alia Bhatt
Alia wore a pretty light pink coloured ankle length frilly dress. The showstopper dress had a horizontal striped sleeves. Alia looked pretty with pink high heels and pink pout lips.
Cut Maxis
Ankle length maxis had thigh high slit. These funky colourful strapless maxi looked perfect for a summer day out.
Masaba Print
Masaba Gupta used he trademark block prints to add a glam touch to the summer collection.
Crop Tops
Crop tops were teamed up with short white printed skirts. Sling bags and closed shoes completed the spring summer look.
High Waist Long Skirts
High waist long skirts in trademark Masaba prints were worn with sheer jackets.
Sheer Silhouette
Sheer white silhouettes with bright printed border were seen in Masaba Gupta's collection at WIFW SS 2014.
Gothic Prints
This black outfit looks Gothic. The sheer bottom looks classy!
Monochrome Prints
Masaba's collection even had monochrome prints which looked perfectly stylish!
Monochrome Blouse and Red Saree
The plain bright red saree has been stylishly draped with a monochrome printed blouse.
