LFW 2013: Nargis Fakhri Walks For Ritu Kumar

Day 4 of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week 2013 has been star studded. The Indian Textile Day got a lot of boost from the celebrity showstoppers. Nargis Fakhri walked for Ritu Kumar, Shriya Saran for Shravan Kumar, Juhi Chawla for Shruti Sancheti and Kirron Kher for Gaurang Shah at the Day 4 of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013.

Ritu Kumar presented an exquisite collection at the Indian Textile Day on Day 4 of LFW 2013 ramp. Ritu Kumar showed up a Bhutan inspired vintage collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013. Ritu Kumar knows the art and creativity of taking up old and traditional style and bringing it back on the ramp with modern touch.

Ritu Kumar's Bhutan inspired vintage collection at LFW 2013 had iconography from Buddhist prayer flag with the jaamavar and kanni motifs of Kashmir which were seen in her creations at the ramp. Lycra dresses, capes, jackets and a lot of traditional outfits were seen in the Bhutan inspired collection of Ritu Kumar at Lakme Fashion Week 2013. The collection extensively had traditional outfits in different shades of white (more than 50 shades). From anarkali gowns to sheer lehengas, Ritu Kumar showcased a fab collection at LFW 2013.

Nargis Fakhri was the celebrity showstopper for Ritu Kumar's Bhutan inspired collection at Day 4 of Lakme Fashion Week 2013. Nargis looked breathtaking in a creamy white lace anarkali gown. The sheer lace full sleeves of the outfit looks elegant on the ramp. The creamy silhouette had golden frills on the bottom. Nargis Fkahri completed the look with bright red lips and diamond and ruby jewellery. Nargis looked bold and beautiful as she wrapped up the show of Ritu Kumar.

Polka Dots

Polka dots, the vintage style fashion was revived by Ritu Kumar at the LFW 2013 ramp.

Silk Skirt

This black silk skirt has golden work all over it, and has been teamed up with a sheer white shirt.

Sequined Collar Blouse

Collar blouses are typical vintage style that was used by Ritu Kumar in the Bhutan inspired vintage collection. The golden sequin work looks stylish.

Printed Maxi Skirts

Maxi skirts in bright prints and patterns were seen in Ritu Kumar's collection.

Printed Trench Coat

This is a stylish trench coat that has traditional prints on it. The red collar sleeves look different.

Silk Skirts

This printed silk skirt has been worn with a full sleeve blouse. It has been accessorised with a printed waistcoat.

Velvet Silhouette

This is a frilly velvet silhouette which looks traditional yet stylish.

Printed Cape

Ritu Kumar presented some intricate prints on capes. The designs also look bright and colourful.

White and Cream Suit

The white suit has golden hues on it. The knee length anarkali has a white lace neckline.

Knee Length Anarkali

The knee length anarkali has a multi-coloured border. The high collar suit has been worn with plain white churidar pants and printed sheer dupatta.

Anarkali Gown

The white anarkali gown looks like a silhouette. The lace white full sleeves and a heavy bodice of the plunging neckline gown looks elegant.

This is one of the best creations of Ritu Kumar from her vintage collection at LFW 2013. The frill silhouette has lace details on it.
