KIFF: Bipasha Basu In Sabyasachi Saree
The gorgeous Bong beauties namely Sushmita Sen, Rani Mukherjee and Bipasha Basu gathered together at the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF). The renowned actresses were felicitated by the West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee.
All the 3 Bong beauties wore traditional sarees at the KIFF. What looked surprising was that, the three Bengali beauties wore Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed sarees. We know that the ace Indian designer is a hot pick when it comes to desi looks, however, the co-incidence was really impressive!
Rani Mukherjee has been earlier spotted in Sabyasachi creations, so it is not just Aishwarya Rai or Vidya Balan who love his creations. The Bengali fashion designer ruled the fashion chart at Kolkata International Film Festival as the three A listers wore his creations.

Bipasha Basu wore a glittering dual-toned Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed saree. The black coloured net saree had hues of sky blue colour on the bottom. The bottom featured golden prints on it and also had a heavy golden embroidery on the borders. The black and blue coloured Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree had golden sequin work on the pallu which added a glittering effect.
The sheer net pallu was carried in the floating style which flaunted the golden sequin work and heavy golden embroidery on it. Bipasha Basu wore the Sabyasachi designed black and golden dual-toned saree with a matching half-sleeve blouse. The blouse also featured heavy sequin work and embellishments in golden patchwork.
Bipasha Basu wore the Sabyasachi saree at Kolkata International Film Festival with golden jewellery. A dozen full of golden bangles, golden dangling jhumkas looked pretty. Bipasha completed the look with center-parting braided low hair bun. The traditional red huge bindi gave touch to the Bengali look. Red lips and nude evening makeup was perfect for the desi look of Bipasha Basu.
Veteran actress Mousumi Chatterjee and leading Bengali film heroine Koel Mullick were added to the "pancha kanya" (five daughters). They were feted by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and were honoured on the 8th day of the Kolkata International Film Festival closing ceremony. At the KIFF 189 films from 66 countries were screened, and the closing ceremony was star-studded with women power!
