Women's Scarf, Back In Fashion!

A small piece of cloth known as a scarf is back with a formal shirt and trousers or with t-shirt and a skirt. The women fashion has welcomed back the trend of wearing small chiffon or silk scarves as an accessory for both informal and formal wear. So, wearing a women's scarf is the trend to look stylish these days.

Also known as dupatta, bandana or a stole, scarves were also seen in the recent times under women fashion. It was teamed up with salwaar kameez for a trendy look. Accessories like jewelery from earrings to simple necklaces have been replaced with this small piece of cloth.

Scarves are counted in formal wear dress code till it is carried in the proper format. It started with knotting around the neck to give the perfect look to the formal wear and also to break the monotony of just shirts and trousers or skirts. Add ons to these scarves like small brooches of colorful gems or stones, attached to the knot is a nice trendy look to flaunt women's scarf.

Net stoles or cotton dupattas are nice for the bohemian look and also goes well with the Indian salwaar kameez. Young boys and girls have brought the use of scarves by teaming them up with t-shirts and deep sleeveless tops. Many working women wear scarves to protect their face and hair from dust and keep their hair free from tangles.

  • Scarf tied on the back of head with sunglasses to beat the heat is a nice funky, European look.
  • Draped scarf to cover the chest i.e, in the form of a dupatta is generally used to team up with salwaar kameez.
  • A simple knot in front with a brooch and keeping both the sides in front to make a distinctive personality. A dangling neck piece for the formal wear.
  • Covering neck with floral printed women's scarf and keeping one side on the back and other in the front is a simple way of using it and keeping them formal. Slippery material like silk is best for this look.
  • Another way to wear a scarf is the ascot wrap style. It is worn over any dress and used to cover blouse or low-cut dresses. It covers the dress and make it look elegant for party.
  • To make a simple dress look trendy, side knotted belt scarf is right option.

Women's scarf is increasingly being used under women fashion to accentuate the look. All you need is the imagination to try the new ways of carrying it and go with the fashion trend.
