4 Easy Steps To Wear A Saree
Wearing a saree isn't very easy as it has a few steps to follow. Sarees come in different cloth material like cotton, silk, synthetic, polyester etc. Take a look at these steps to wear a saree.
How To Wrap A Saree – Tips
The three essential things you require to wear saree
1. Blouse – It is a short top that ends below the bust. It needs to be tight fit, buttoned and designed with any neckline and sleeves.
2. Petticoat – It is long skirt like garment that is tightly tied to the waist. Generally the petticoat needs to be more or less the same shade of the saree.
3. Safety Pins
How To Drape:
1. Start wearing the saree by tucking the plain end into the petticoat (start from right), Adjust the saree length according to the personality.
2. Wrap the saree around the petticoat with the saree end in the front and tuck all over.
3. Make 5 to 7 pleats of the saree (equal width) and tuck it well in the centre (just above the navel). You can pin the pleats to set it neatly.
4. Drape the remaining saree around the hip and make pleats of the pallu (saree end). Pin the saree to the blouse (on your left) using a safety pin.
