Is Bindi The New International Fashion?

If you thought that bindi and western wear don't go hand in hand, then you will be contradicting Miley Cyrus and Madonna style statement, who have made Indian bindi the new International fashion. Recently, Miley Cyrus have been seen flaunting a crystal bindi with leather jeans and jacket. Madonna was seen with a bindi in her frozen video and Katty Perry after her Indian marriage, has been a ardent fan of it.

So, has the bindi fashion gone International? Well, the recent hype about the bindi among some of the top Hollywood stars, seems to have declared the answer as 'YES'. Indian stars too have contributed to get the Indian bindi fashion International. Kareena Kapoor was seen flaunting a big bindi recently and Bipasha Basu wore in one of the Fashion shows.

Needless to say, the bindi fashion in the International market is different from the regular bindi's which Indian's usually wear. So, can Indian bindi be flaunted with western wears?

1.I will match the bindi with clothing which has lot of lace, also Victorian feel, wispy fabrics like chiffons and georgettes, a lot of volume, full skirts and dresses which is very girly n romantic" shared Designer Aastha Bahl.

2.Joy Mitra told IANS, "Styling differs from person to person. I might style bindi in a certain way, but honestly one has to be sure and confident about the right colour, size and with what garment it should be worn. I might use a bright red big bindi with my traditional saris or a small diamond or Swarovski bindi with my jackets."

3.Sasha Singh, a college student says, “ bindi can be worn with western wear, with bringing about slight changes. I often wear a transparent bindi with western wears like skirts, jeans etc.

So, as Indian fashionable bindi goes international, bindi with western wears is becoming an uprising trend. So, what will you wear a bindi with?
