Try these glow-fuelling treats to simplify your skincare ritual!
Yoghurt Cleanser
Plain yoghurt is a mild cleanser that suits all skin types. Rich in lactic acid, it unclogs pores, removes dead skin cells, and gives you a brighter complexion.
Take 2 tablespoons of fresh yoghurt and apply it over the just-cleansed face. Allow it to work for around 5-10 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. You will experience a cleaner and cooler skin immediately. Those with dry skin can add a drop of honey to whisked yoghurt to add a dose of moisture!
Matcha Boost
Matcha, the powdered green tea has usage that goes beyond making lattes. It works as an antioxidant infusion for the skin. From reducing inflammation, and redness to offering natural glow, this green dust is pretty powerful.
Mix 1 teaspoon of matcha powder with half a teaspoon of unadulterated honey and a few drops of water to form a smooth paste. Apply it over the face and neck for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water and pat dry. Your skin will have a youthful radiance while you relish the leftover matcha-made smoothie or tea!
Avocado Moisturizer
Rich in vitamin E and healthy fats, avocados heal dry and irritated skin. The creamy textured paste feels rich on your face and adds a quick moisture boost.
Mash around 4-5 tablespoons of ripe avocado and use it as a luxurious face mask. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. A plump and soft skin is what you will experience post the fruity-beauty ritual. A teaspoon of olive oil can also be added for a richer feel!
Chocolate Glow
Raw cocoa powder is a great source of antioxidants, mood-betterment compounds, and skin-boosting magic. Blend it with Greek yoghurt to form a glow mask that smells superior to any night cream.
Mix 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cacao powder with equal parts of plain Greek yoghurt. Apply it evenly on the face and allow it to work its magic for 15-20 minutes. Wash off to experience a spa-like glow!
Beetroot Blush
The all-natural tint that beetroot offers is incomparable! A power source of antioxidants, it gives your cheeks and lips a visible flush that's unmissable. That means, skipping those chemical-laden beauty tints.
Grate and squeeze one small beet using a stainer. Dab some on the cheeks and lips with your fingers or cotton pad. Allow it to dry to reveal the buildable blush Mix a drop of natural honey to reflect a glossy sheen!
