Turmeric Face Pack Recipes For Festive Ready Skin!

Derived from the roots of the Curcuma longa plant, turmeric is one of the most common and basic products used in every kitchen. Known as a healing spice, turmeric is also used in cooking, skin care and hair care. Turmeric face mask recipes are what we're going to deal with in the article.
Turmeric has been used in most of the cosmetic products available in the market. When turmeric is used on skin and face, it can help bring a glow, shine and clear complexion. This is why Haldi or turmeric is also applied to the bride and groom before getting married.
However, there are many versatile ways to make use of turmeric over the face. Here we mention to you some of the turmeric face packs for different skin types.

1. Almond and turmeric
Soak 5-6 almonds in water and keep it overnight. Now, blend this in the morning to make a fine paste. Take some turmeric and combine it with the almond paste. Add some milk and mix all the ingredients to make a thick paste.
If you feel the paste is too thick, add some more milk. Now apply this on your face and wait for some time. When dry, wipe off with a warm cloth and then rinse with cold water.

2. Turmeric and Milk Cream
Take equal proportion of turmeric and milk cream in a bowl. Now mix both of them together and make a thick paste. Apply this paste on your face and wait for 20-25 minutes, until it gets completely dried. Then, wash off with cold water.

3. Turmeric, Rose Water and Sandalwood.
Take two spoons of turmeric and sandalwood powder in a bowl. Now, mix it with rose water and make a thick paste. If needed, add some milk and mix it well. Then, apply this pack on face and neck. Wait for a couple of hours and wash it off with warm water. Using this pack can help to keep your face moisturised and nourished all the time.

4. Turmeric, Lemon Juice and Egg White
Take one egg white and mix some lemon juice with it. Now, whisk it properly and add some turmeric. If needed, add some rose water for aroma and refreshment. Then, apply this on your face and neck. Wash off after 30 minutes when it has dried completely.

5. Turmeric and Besan
Take an equal portion of turmeric and besan in a bowl. Now, add some yogurt and mix all the ingredients well. After getting a medium consistency, apply the paste on the face and wait until it gets dried. Wash it off with cold water after 15 minutes.

6. Turmeric and Fuller’s Earth
Take two spoons of turmeric and mix it with three spoons of Fuller's earth or multani mitti. Now, add one spoon of rose water and mix everything properly. If needed, add some yogurt to get a smooth texture. Apply this on your face and spread it evenly. Wait for sometime and wash it off.

7. Turmeric and Yogurt
Take one bowl of yogurt and add some turmeric, until you get a dark yellow coloured mixture. Now, apply this on your face and spread it evenly on face and neck. Mix both the ingredients well, so that no lumps are formed. If needed, add some orange juice to the face pack as well. Wash it off after 20 minutes when it gets dried completely.

8. Yogurt, Turmeric and Milk
Mix yogurt and milk properly, so that you get a slightly thicker consistency. Now, add some turmeric powder to the mixture and blend everything properly. Apply this on your face and don't forget the neck area. This mask takes 30 minutes to get dried, so you can wash it off with cold water later.

9. Turmeric, Sandalwood Powder and Orange Juice Pack
Take three spoons of sandalwood and add some orange juice and turmeric to it. Apply this on your face and wash off with lukewarm water. Make sure that you add an equal quantity of orange juice and sandalwood powder.

10. Aloe vera, Turmeric and Yogurt
Take two spoons of yogurt and mix it with one spoon of turmeric and two spoons of aloe vera gel. If needed, add some more rose water to make a paste. Now, apply this on your scalp and allow it to dry completely. Wait for sometime and wash it off with cold water.

11. Turmeric, Honey and Mint
Take one spoon of raw honey and mix it with one spoon of crushed mint leaves and turmeric. Mix well to make a paste. Apply this mixture on your face and wait for sometime. Regular application of this mixture can help to give you a glowing complexion.
