5 Collagen-boosting Masks To Erase Wrinkles
Looking 20 at 40's, not an easy task now, is it? As much as we care for our skin, it falls prey to signs of ageing, giving rise to fine lines, dull and saggy skin. So, what you need are collagen masks for wrinkles.
Collagen is found in the connective tissues of your skin. It acts as a glue that binds your skin together.

In an ideal world, you would like to think your body is producing the same collagen level in 70's as it was doing in teens. Sadly, that's not the case.
The elastin and collagen that maintain the structure of your skin dwindle with age, leaving it vulnerable to gravity.
Now, though these homemade masks to get rid of wrinkles are effective, just the topical application is not enough.
You need to consume collagen-rich foods as well to see a difference in your skin. Vitamin-rich foods combined with optimum exercise, adequate water will pack the punch.
So, without further ado, here are 5 collagen masks for wrinkles that will tighten up the pores and reduce fine lines.

Egg
Egg has a high amount of proteins, which help shrink pores, build collagen level in the skin, leaving your skin toned and smooth.
How It Works:
- Take a bowl, and separate egg white from the yolk.
- Beat the egg white to a frothy consistency.
- Apply a thin coat all over your face and neck.
- Let it stay till dry, and once you feel your skin stretch, rinse and pat dry.

Avocado + Carrot + Milk
Vitamin E in avocado, beta-carotene in carrot and calcium in milk work to tighten, brighten and lighten your skin texture.
How It Works:
- Grind avocado into fine pulp. Add in 10 drops of carrot oil and 1 tablespoon of milk.
- Mix the ingredients into a smooth paste.
- Apply it all over your face and neck.
- Let it sit for 20 minutes and then rinse.
- Apply this pore-tightening mask twice a week to see desired results.

Pomegranate + Strawberry + Kiwi
These fruits are high on antioxidants, which improves the healthy fat level on your skin, making it tight.
How It Works:
- Take 1 tablespoon of pomegranate juice, mix it with 1 tablespoon of strawberry pulp and 1 tablespoon of kiwi pulp.
- Beat the ingredients with a wooden spoon, until you get a smooth paste.
- Apply it all over your neck and face.
- After 30 minutes, your skin will start to stretch.
- Start scrubbing in a circular motion, and then rinse with cold water.
- Follow this natural remedy for wrinkles twice a week to see a noted difference.

Milk Cream
Fine lines appear because your skin is parched and it needs vital moisture to maintain its suppleness. Milk cream has a high ratio of essential fats, proteins and calcium, which trap the moisture in your skin, making it smooth and taut.
How It Works:
- Take a tablespoon, and whip the cream into a thin consistency.
- Apply a thin coat all over your face and neck.
- Let it sit for 1 hour and then rinse.
- Follow this collagen mask for wrinkles every night to see an amazing result.

Papaya + Pineapple
Both papaya and pineapple have vital enzymes and antioxidants that help repair damaged skin cells, shrink pores, improve elasticity, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
How It Works:
- Grind 1 tablespoon of papaya and pineapple into a smooth paste.
- Add a tablespoon of honey to the paste.
- Apply a thin coat of the homemade mask to get rid of wrinkles, all over your face and neck.
- After half an hour, rinse it clean.
