Get Rid Of Acne Scars With Olive Oil

Acne, one of the most frightful things on this earth, tends to give girls and women across the globe a sort of nightmare. You would not want to open your eyes to pimples early on in the morning, especially on a day when you are heading for an important meeting. Hiding the acne is another issue that you would need to deal with along with preparing for the meeting. It is an even bigger issue when you are heading for your first date and you see a pimple sitting happily on your face. You would rather kill the whole issue than head for the date with the pimple.

Acne is a common issue for those with oily skin. Avoiding it becomes a highly difficult affair especially if you have settled in a moisture ridden place. But, what seems to be worse is the scars that acne leave behind. You are forced to commit to those scars and find ways to delete them off your life. You do really hope and pray that with all the efforts you are putting in the scars do wash away eventually. Well, there are ways to do that. With olive oil you can happily rid off the scars that acne have caused. You need to follow a few steps when using olive oil to get rid of the scars.

Get Rid Of Pimple Scars

Go Massaging
This is one of the simplest ways to rid scars caused by acne. You should use olive oil to soften the dead scar tissue hanging along the area on your face. Massage a tbsp of olive oil gently across your face. You should use the necessary deep pressure and follow circular movements to perfect the massaging of the area. The specialty of this oil is that it does not get stuck to the pores and hence would never cause acne issues.

Take Steam
Once you are done with massaging, you need to take steam. For this you will need to fill a bowl with hot water and take your face about 18 inches from that water. Take in steam for about 10 minutes and wipe off the sweat produced with towel. This process of massaging followed by steam would help the scars to loosen which helps remove the scars.

Exfoliation Process
Once you have softened the scar tissue, your next step involves exfoliating the skin by creating an olive oil scrub. Mix a tbsp of olive oil with baking soda. Now use the mixture on your face. As you would with any face scrub, rub is along the lines of your face using circular motion. Do so for a few minutes before you wipe it off with wet cloth. The scar tissue that had softened in the steam process would be dislocated in the exfoliation process.

Acne Free Skin
Once you have removed the acne scars, the skin underneath becomes a bit visible. You will need to protect this skin and also prevent future acne eruptions. The best way to do so would be to use olive oil mixed with tea tree oil and applying it to the acne scarred areas. This will not only protect the skin under the scar but also prevent future acne due to its antimicrobial properties.
