Homemade face packs are commonly prepared by many women. If you want to get glowing and flawless skin naturally, you can apply face packs made with simple ingredients. These ingredients can be fruits, vegetables and spices. Yes, fruit face packs are commonly seen everywhere. Even fruits like lemon, strawberries, banana and papaya are used to make face wash. However, getting a face pack made with vegetables is a strange beauty regime. There are many women who apply face packs made with vegetables like carrots, potatoes, avocado etc.

Homemade Face Packs With Vegetables

Carrot face pack: The underground vegetable is rich in vitamin A. It is good for sensitive skin and has been used as a natural remedy to cure acne, pimples, whiteheads, pigmentation and sun tan. Blend carrot into juice and add few drops of honey, lemon juice and milk. Apply on your face and massage for 2 minutes. Leave for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Tomato face pack: Mash a tomato into puree. Add few drops of lemon juice, ½ tsp multani mitti (Fuller's Earth) and sandalwood powder. Mix well and apply this vegetable face pack on your face and neck. Let it dry. Wash with cold water to get glowing skin. There are many other tomato face packs that you can try at home.

Potato face pack: This is another face pack that is made with a vegetable. If you have dry skin, you can mash a potato and massage on your face to moisturise it and prevent it from itching. Another way of applying potato is my grating it and then mixing with curd. Mix well and apply on the face. Leave for 10 minutes and then rinse with milk and cold water.

Avocado face pack: This vegetable hydrates the skin, moisturises it and prevents it from drying. During winters, you do not need to rely on oily winter creams. Just blend a small piece of avocado with orange peel. Add 1tsp yoghurt and egg white. Mix well to form a paste. Apply it on your face and neck. Leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cold water to restore radiance to dry and sensitive skin.

Onion face pack: Did you know that the onions that make you cry have many skin benefits? You can apply onion face pack to get glowing, flawless and acne-free skin. Onions have vitamin A, C and E. These vitamins protect the skin from sun damage and also reduces free radicals from the body. In a bowl, add ½ tsp Bengal gram flour, sandalwood powder, curd, lemon juice and onion paste. Mix well and add few drops of milk to make a paste like face pack. Apply on the face and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water. This homemade face pack exfoliates the skin, removes dead skin cells and also lightens the skin.
