The other day when I trotted across the street, there were a few college going boys who were deeply into a conversation and their focus was on their feet! Pondering on what they might be talking about, inquisitive on my behalf I went up to them and inquired what was the topic of the day.

All of them stunned and gazing at me, I heard a faint voice from the back saying 'They are laughing at my socks'. I paused for a while and looked behind me and saw a short lad with high pants and the most bizarre little socks on his feet! My eyes beamed at the sight of it, but this young lad proudly said,'Its in fashion, ,Mam!' His friends who were around burst into laughter putting this young lad into a shameful position.

From this I personally noticed that there are some men who have no knowledge of matching their socks according to their clothes. So here below are a few tips on men fashion on how to choose the right color sock with the clothes you wear.

1.White Socks – The white color sock is to be worn on occasions when you are going for a game of basketball or any other sports. Always remember, the white sock is more of a casual wear and a complete no on formals! If you are hitting the gym , choose the right color sock which is white!

2.Black socks – The color black is universal! You can wear the black sock with that of a black pant or dark Grey too.

3.Brown and grey socks – Please remember to choose the right color sock according to the color of the pant and not according to the color of the shoe. So, if you are wearing a brown pant then brown socks is a must, grey socks for grey pants etc. For a beige pant however, you have to wear on beige socks too or a brown pair of socks to match the brown shoes.

4.Printed Socks – Some men fashion also have the printed socks which has become quite the trend! These however will still go according to the color of the pant . The more prominent color of the sock should match the pant. Eg – if the sock is brown with grey stripes then it will match a brown pant and not grey! So make the best decision and choose the right color sock.
