1. Take a wet cotton cloth piece or handkerchief and gently rub on the lips. This helps take out the dead skin from the lips and make it soft.

2. Now apply a foundation on the lip lines and follow up with a concealer. This is an effective makeup tip to make the thin lips look full and big. It is best to choose the foundation and concealer colours which matches with your skin tone.

3. Lip liners define the shape of the lips and is also helpful to hide the thin lips smartly. Take two lip liner colours; dark and light shades which blends with your lip gloss or lipstick colour.

4. Apply the dark lip liner on the corner of the lips. Draw a thin line on the lip line and see that it doesn't come out on the face.

5. With the lighter lip liner shade, draw a thin line in the middle of both the natural top line and bottom lip line.

6. Now apply a matching lipstick or lip gloss to get fuller lips. Lip gloss makes the lips look thick and juicy. If you are applying lipstick, choose a colour which has shimmer or gloss effect to make the thin lips appear big and juicy.

7. Apply lipstick or gloss over the lip liner. Cover from the center to the corners of the lips. Apply more on the center of the lips to get the fuller effect. With a tissue paper, blot the lipstick or gloss from the corner of the lips.

8. Don't apply matte colours as they highlight the thin lips more and make them look dull. Nude and semi-dark glossy lip colours are effective to hide thin lips easily with makeup.
