Keep Your Lipstick Colour Fresh

Lipstick has a great ability to brighten up your face and also make it look fresh. Lipstick makes a very important part of your make-up. Your lip colour should always be in accordance with your skin tone, colour of your dress, your hair colour and the most important the occasion. To some extent the shape of your lips also determine the colour you should flaunt. If you are wearing the perfect lip colour, you are bound to look gorgeous.

Lipsticks however need a touch up in regular intervals, as it tends to wear out very quickly, specially while talking and sipping on a drink. To touch up every hour can be very bugging and also not good for your lips.

Here are tips to make your lipstick colour last longer -

1.Moisturise your lips well before applying lipstick.
2.Apply colour to your lips with lip pencil first and then apply the lipstick. The colour of lip pencil is not as vulnerable as lipstick.
3.Blot Lipstick on your lips with your finger.
4.Apply two coats of lipstick
5.Avoid using a lot of gloss.
6.Finally brush on a translucent powder
7.Some make-up artists use foundation as the base of lipstick.

The trend now is that of matte lipstick colours. Red is all time favourite but at the same time shades of brown and pink are also in demand. So, wear your lipstick with care to make heads turn.
