DIY: Hand Sanitizer With Kitchen Ingredients
Pollution is by far the biggest enemy of mankind. Air pollution, land pollution and water pollution are solely responsible for majority of the illnesses that affect us.
We cannot control the actions of others and insist that they don't pollute. We can however definitely protect our loved ones by acting with caution and being smart.
The best way to fight the effects of pollution is to use sanitizers to prevent bacterial and other infections from setting in.
Both bathroom sanitizers and floor sanitizers are important tools to keep your family healthy and happy. However, the most important type of disinfectants are personal sanitizers.

Hand sanitizers can easily be purchased from a supermarket; but there are times when choosing a commercial product just doesn't cut it.
People with skin allergies cannot tolerate chemicals in their products. People who are particular about using quality ingredients, that are devoid of chemicals, might decide to whip up their own hand sanitizers.

Recipe 1: For Ultimate Protection And Pleasant Fragrance
This recipe is all natural, makes your hands soft, smell good and uses natural oils to disinfect in a safe and effective manner. For best results, follow the formula as per the directions mentioned.
Base Ingredient:
- 1/4th Cup of Pure Aloe Vera Gel
- 5 Essential Oils:
- 5 drops each of Orange and Rosemary
- 10 Drops Each of Clove, Cinnamon and Lavender Essential Oils

Method:
Mix all of the essential oils in the mentioned quantities. Store the gel in a re-usable silicone tube or plastic dispenser. Mix it well before every use.
Recipe 2: For Maximum Protection And Moisturised Hands
This power-packed recipe offers both protection and well-moisturised hands. The vitamin E oil also ensures that the hand sanitizer doesn't get spoiled quickly! For a maximum shelf-life, use the recipe as per the directions mentioned.

Base Ingredients:
- 1/4th Cup of Pure Aloe Vera Gel
- 1 Tablespoon of Vodka
Other Important Ingredients:
- 10 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
- 30 Drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil
- 10 drops of Vitamin E Oil

Method:
Mix all the oils in a medium-sized glass bowl, swirl gently for 10 seconds to mix. Add vodka to the oils and swirl for an additional 10 seconds. Add the Pure Aloe Vera Gel to the bowl and mix it thoroughly. Store in a plastic dispenser or silicone tube. Mix it well before every use.
