Infertility is one of the rising problems in both men and women. However, according to many recent surveys and study, infertility among men is increasing in India. Instead of wasting money on doctor's visit, include healthy fertility foods like cottage cheese, chicken, turkey, oatmeal, seafood, pumpkin seeds, green leafy vegetables, carrots, peppers, fish especially salmon and sardines in your diet.
Break the bad habits: Smoking and alcohol consumption is a trending habit these days. Majority of men get used to these bad habits out of will or necessity. Smoking and alcohol not only effects fertility but also the body. Ask your man to break the bad habits and quit it (at least to help you conceive).
Weight control: Overweight and obesity are associated with lower sperm count. This is one male fertility basics that every man should keep in mind. Being an underweight or overweight can curb the fertility of a man. To increase the functioning of the reproductive hormones and organs, have a healthy diet and watch out your weight. Workout regularly to have a healthy body and also improve the the sperm count. You can either go for aerobic exercises or yoga.
Perfect timings are a must: To improve the fertility rate, men have to be very careful with their timings when the sperm count is better and good. Make love every alternate day. According to studies, men have a good sperm count and quality during morning time. If you two are comfortable, make love in the morning. Also keep a track of the ovulation calendar of your partner. Making love during the ovulation days makes it easier to conceive.
Control stress: Many researches have shown that increase in stress levels affect the love life of a couple and also decreases the sperm count. Stay cool and practice yoga. This will bring back your peaceful life and relax you.
