Forbidden Foods For Babies
Babies cannot eat everything, as their body is not fully developed. They lack the ability to digest certain foods. Therefore, babies are recommended only a few specific foods that can boost their health and which also don't cause any ill effects in them.
Experts suggest parents to avoid foods that are high in sugar and salt, as it can hamper the brain functioning among the toddlers. Lot of attention should be given to the babies who are below 1 year of age and when it comes to their food habits, parents have to be extra careful.
Negligence by parents may harm the health of the baby and may cause negative impacts on a baby's health. A baby below 1 year of age should totally rely on the mother's milk, as it provides a complete nourishment. Solid foods should not be introduced to the babies who are below 6 months of age.
Babies should totally forbid eating butter, nuts, egg whites, shell fish and citrus. These foods can possess health risks for the growing infants. These foods may cause allergies in the infants. Likewise, there are few foods that should be avoided for babies.

Salt: Eating too much of salt can harm the kidneys of the babies. Their kidneys are not equipped to process more salts. In some cases, it may even cause damage to the brain. Therefore, always avoid adding too much salt to your baby's food.

Sugar: Too much of sugar intake can cause tooth decay among the babies. Tooth decay can be prevented by avoiding fruits, candies and salads that contain too much of sugar. Hence, babies should be kept away from certain sweets and desserts rich in sugar.
Honey: Honey can be fatal to the babies. It is linked to infant botulism. It can also cause lethargy, lack of appetite and constipation in your baby. Therefore, honey should strictly be avoided until the baby turns 1 year old.

Nuts And Eggs: Nuts should be avoided, as they may cause chocking in babies, making it difficult for them to breathe. Babies below 6 months of age have a difficulty in digesting eggs as well. Hence, eggs and nuts should be totally avoided for babies below 1 year of age.
Cow's Milk: Cow's milk is not preferred for the little ones because they lack the ability to digest the fats present in a cow's milk. When consumed, it may cause discomfort to the baby's stomach. Hence, the best baby feed is a mother's milk until about 10 months to 1 year of age.
