LFW 2014: Touch Of Greek By Outhouse Jewellery
The collection displayed by Outhouse Jewellery was indeed captivating on Day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week 2014. Inspired from the Greek granduer, the collection called 'The Column' attracted a lot of attention.
The liquid solid cast material, which is used in 'The Column' collection, was also influenced by proto geometric art. Latis and lazuli, garnet, amber, turquoise and pearl stones were widely used on each one of the jewels of Outhouse on day 2 of LFW 2014.
Truly inspired from the Greek architecture, this collection was admirable. The models who walked the ramp in style patterned a live column on stage which resembled the actual Greek columns. The heavy long necklaces on the beauties were ravishing.
The waists were clenched with golden buckled belts, their ears were heavy with gold ear cuffs and even their thighs had rims of gold thong like belts. Not to forget their hairstyle. It was tied in a bun and brightly lit with a golden hair pin.
Straight cut bracelets on their bare wrists too made the look more appealing. Some of the Outhouse models for 'The Column' collection had black leather gloves, just to bring out the gold detailing on the bracelet.
Outhouse even had a range of gold spiked tiaras and it was placed on the crowns of the models' head. This Greek inspiration is truly remarkable and we can't wait to see a Bollywood beauty wearing them.
Shades Of Green
Being a forest colour, the designer decided to go in for a rich look. The green was paired with long chains.
Emerald Jewels
The emerald jewels to go with this dress is superb. We love the way the belt is carefully embedded with delicate detailing.
The Pendant Says It All
On this high collar neck, a gigantic pendant with a semi stone is placed on a thin chain. It is also paired with a straight cut choker!
Horn Bull Shapes
This design of the necklace is shaped like a horn of the bull. Sharp at the edges and filled with semi stones just to add in that glamour.
Majestic Patterns
On the ramp, Outhouse presented a lot of majestic patterns and this was one of the few with straight cut out patterns and other sorts of detailing.
Belted Necklaces
There were a lot of belted necklaces which were seen on the ramp. The off shoulder was beautifully decked with a choker chain and red stones.
Criss Cross Patterns
What caught our attention is the criss cross patterns of the necklace. A touch of red leather made a difference to this look.
Roped In Chains
There is always that special something which creates a difference. The roped in black chain and the tassle pendant was quite the look we didn't expect on the ramp presented by Outhouse.
Pendulum Necklaces
This was one of the necklaces that was out of the box. The pendulum pendant on the red leather tassel chain was quite the image.
A Touch Of Black
Outhouse jewellery also added a touch of black to the pendants which was displayed on the ramp.
Neckline Jewels
To create a different kind of look this time, a setting of jewels were placed on the neckline of the gown.
Tiara Necklaces
The tiara necklaces had a different appearance to it. Broad at the base of the neck and lateral towards the cleavage area.
Shoulder Love
Only one side of the shoulder was heavily decked with golden jewellery. The belt was made to match with the uncanny chain.
Plunging Necklines Given A Touch Of Gold
Even the plunging necklines were given a special touch of gold. The belt wrapped around the model's waist seems kind of heavy.
Crown Beauties
Many of the models wore crowns on their head that were decked with heavy embellishments of gold.
Illusional Gold Buttons
On the ramp, this was one of the designs from the collection which caught our attention.
For The Gown!
To give the black gown a special appearance, this kind of Outhouse jewellery was matched on the ramp at LFW 2014.
Nose Piercings
If ever you run out of styles to add to your beautiful nose piercing, this should be an option!
Different Kind Of Tiara's
On the ramp we saw a lot of tiara's which ranged from different patterns. This tiara was sharp and elongated.
With The Designers
The showstopper for Outhouse Jewellery was decked with a lot of jewels, embellished with stones and other detailings.
