After seeing the recent celebrity Priyanka Chopra getting inked, we have to talk about celebrity tattoos. While few celebs like Sanjay Dutt and Esha Deol played it safe, there are many celebrities who created controversies through their tattoos. Lets have a look at it.

Deepika Padukone: The beautiful actress had a very open affair with Bollywood heart throb and co actor, Ranbir Kapoor. The lovebirds were the topic of gossip in the tinsel town. But, after a sudden break up, the couple moved on. But, Deepika created a controversy with her tattoo. Deepika inked a tattoo on her neck that showed initials of her boyfriend RK (Ranbir Kapoor). Even after the break up, Deepika decided to stay inked with the tattoo of her ex boyfriend.

Mandira Bedi: This gorgeous celebrity rose to sudden fame while anchoring world cup. The deep neck blouses and a clear view of cleavage made Mandira Bedi a known name in the nation (especially cricket fans). The celebrity inked a controversial tattoo on her back. She inked a Sikh religious symbol tattoo on her back. Mandira flaunted the tattoo on the ramp and landed up in a thick controversy. The tattoo ‘Ekom Kar" (God is one) are the first words of the Holy Sikh scripture, the Granth Sahib. The Sikh community has asked her apology for the anti-Sikh action. Her another controversial tattoo is the Tibetan Om (Buddhist symbol) that landed her in a deep controversy. People burned effigies of the vivacious anchor for getting such religious things inked in lower waist.

Saif Ali Khan: The royal Nawab of Pataudi suddenly captured all the paparazzi when he sported a new tattoo on his hand. After the most controversial break up of Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan showed off his new tattoo that named 'Kareena' in Hindi. Saif Ali Khan was married to Amrita Singh and has 2 children from her. After the controversial tattoo of the celebrity was clicked by the media, the couple (Saif and Kareena) became the more famous lovebirds in the tinsel town.

Nayantara: The gorgeous Kollywood actress inked the name of her much hyped relationship with choreographer turned actor and director, Prabhu Deva. After her break up with Silambarasan (Simbhu), Nayantara was getting linked with Prabhu Deva. The much hyped relationship with Prabhu was proved when she got a tattoo of his name, just to prove her loyalty and the fact of their relationship. Prabhu Deva is written in English and Tamil on her hand a little above the wrist.
