Joe Jonas Extends His Hand To Africa
The 'Jonas Brothers' singer went to Botswana and he was deeply touched seeing the living condition of the people.
“I
brought
some
of
my
best
friends
with
me
to
be
a
part
of
this
incredible
experience.
We
were
all
changed
by
what
we
saw," Joe
wrote
in
a
Twitter
post.
“I
was
able
to
spend
time
with
many
kids
and
teens
that
go
to
school
there.
Their
schools
do
not
have
the
room
to
take
care
of
this
many
people.
Some of the classes had hundreds of kids in rooms smaller than most living rooms in the U.S. I also spent time with some of the babies that were born to mothers carrying the HIV AIDS virus.
Out of the entire trip this was one of the most touching moments. I miss those children already. I was close to coming back home with many Joe Jr.s.," Joe added.
Joe promised to return again to Africa and continue his charity work in the future.
“For the future, I plan on going back to Africa, as well as other nations, to help out in any way I can. I feel like hands-on work is where I feel most satisfied," Joe said.
