Facial oils have been quite popular these days because they help to give you a glowing and radiant skin. There are more than 50 types of facial oils that are available in the market and hence choosing the appropriate one according to your skin type is really very important.
The benefits of facial oil remain the same, unless and until you choose the appropriate type of oil as per your skin type. Not picking up oil according to your skin type may leave you with embarrassing and disappointing results.
So, today, we mention to you details on how to choose the right type of face oil according to your skin type. Take a look.

1. For Normal Skin
People with normal skin are the best, as most of the oils suit this skin type. People with normal skin generally have no intense issues with the skin and hence you can use any essential oil of your choice. People with normal skin should use coconut oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil or argan oil, as these oils are extremely light in consistency and do not weigh down on the skin. Using these oils on a daily basis can give you an ever-glowing, radiant skin.

2. For Sensitive Skin
People with sensitive skin should always be extra-cautious with the skin, as it may often lead to irritation, itching, and inflammation on the skin. You should use jasmine essential oil, chamomile essential oil or olive oil, as it helps to keep your skin hydrated and supple for a long period of time. Using these oils also help to deal with acne and pimple problems easily.

3. For Mature Or Aged Skin
People with ageing skin should often look for oils with a large amount of antioxidants, as it helps to prevent fine lines and wrinkles on the skin. If your skin is aged or if you observe early ageing signs on the face, you should use frankincense essential oil or rose essential oil. Other popular oil that can help to prevent signs of ageing on the skin is argan oil. Using oils with antioxidants can help to keep your skin hydrated, supple and younger looking for a long period of time.

4. For Dry Skin
People with dry skin generally observe dryness and itchiness on the skin and hence, choosing the right type of essential oil is really very important. You should choose a light-weight oil, so that it penetrates deep into the skin and keeps the skin cells hydrated and moisturised. Opt for oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, etc. These oils get absorbed quickly and can help to alleviate this problem easily.

5. For Oily Skin
If you have an extremely oily type of skin, you should opt for oils that control sebum and oil production on the skin, thus keeping your skin dry. People with oily skin should opt for oils such as cypress, orange, lemon oil or Bergamot oil. These oils are extremely nourishing and can help to control the oil production easily.

6. To Control Breakouts
If you have dry or oily skin with frequent breakouts and large-sized pores, you should opt for nourishing oil that contains a high amount of antioxidants and is light in weight. Using the right kind of oil can help to calm down the skin and also prevent breakouts on the skin. It also helps to treat the dark spots on the face. You should opt for patchouli, lavender or geranium oil to treat the breakout issues on the skin.

7. For Combination Skin
This is the most troublesome skin type, which is neither dry nor oily. However, you should opt for oils that are nourishing on dry skin but are still friendly on oily skin. For people with combination skin, they should opt for orange oil, sandalwood oil, olive oil, patchouli oil or lavender oil. These oils are good for both the skin types and hence they help create a balance between the two skin types.
