Natural Toners For An Oily Skin
Cleansing, toning and moisturising the skin regularly can make it look more radiant and glowing. Toning the skin is one the most important and essential steps in skin care routine. Toning the skin is equally important, as moisturising the skin, because it helps in restoring the pH balance of the skin.
Cleansing and toning usually go hand-in-hand. Toning also helps to tighten the pores and evens out the skin tone by providing a brightening effect. It enhances the tone of the skin and keeps dermal infection at bay.
Chemical toners contain alcohol that can pull out oil from the skin, leaving it to become dry and dull eventually. Therefore, it is always good to opt for natural and home-made skin toners. Toning is a must for an oily skin. Home-made skin toners take care of the skin in an inexpensive way. Toners firm the skin and help remove the appearances of wrinkles and fine lines.
In this article, we at Boldsky are listing out some of the home-made toners that are best suited for an oily skin. Read on to know more about it.

Mint Leaves: Mint leaves works wonders as a toner. It is an excellent astringent that helps in getting rid of dead cells on the skin. Mix mint leaves with hot water. Allow this solution to cool down. Wipe your face using this solution and rinse your face thoroughly after sometime.

Aloe Vera: Aloe vera not only acts as a moisturiser and a skin soother, it is also a great toner for the skin. Squeeze the juice of an aloe vera or you could use the gel. Apply it on to your face and rinse after sometime. It is soothing in nature and can effectively cure sunburn and rashes.
Tomato Juice: Tomato juice restores the natural glow of the skin and imparts a nice radiance to the skin. Mix tomato juice with an equal amount of honey. Make a thick paste and then apply this all over your face. Leave it on for sometime and then rinse.

Ice Cold Water: Ice cold water is one of the simplest toners that one can use. It not only hydrates the skin, but also reduces acne and skin inflammation. Splash some ice cold water to your face for an instant glow. Ice cubes also serve the purpose of a toner.
Vinegar: Vinegar works as a toner too. Since vinegar is acidic in nature, it restores the normal pH of the skin. Mix water and vinegar in equal proportions. Dip a cotton ball into this solution and wipe your face with it. You can do this regularly to notice a great difference.
