Natural Remedies To Remove Corns On Toes

But, this is more often seen on the feet, especially on the toes and soles of your feet. This occurs mainly due to walking or running in wrong-sized shoes. Apart from this, wearing shoes without socks, constant sports activity and manual labour can also cause corns.
Even when corns are major beauty issues, the health problems associated with these are also plenty. For those who have issues like diabetes or other conditions, there will be poor blood flow to the feet. This increases the risk of complication from corns. This makes it important to treat corns at the earliest. Corns may seem as minor issues. But, the discomfort and pain from corns can spoil your day.
First and foremost thing that you have to do is to avoid the cause of friction. There are many over-the-counter medicines and lotions available in the market. But, using chemical products will cause its own health risks. It is always better to try natural remedies to remove corns on toes.

Pumice Stone
Rub the corn with fine pumice stone. This will effectively remove dead and hardened skin. If you can soak your feet in hot water for ten minutes, the process will be easier and more effective. Make sure that you rub on the skin very gently.
Castor Oil
Soak your feet in water for some time. Pat dry and apply some castor oil on the corns. Dip a cotton ball or cloth in castor oil and place this on the corn. Apply a tape and keep the cotton in place overnight. After removing this in the morning, apply castor oil several times.
White Vinegar
White vinegar helps to remove corns with its acidic property. It can also prevent infection of the corn with its antibacterial properties. Mix one part of white vinegar with three parts of water and apply this on the corn. You can use an adhesive tape to secure this. Clean with a pumice stone in the morning.
Baking Soda
Baking soda is probably one of the most commonly used skin care products. This is mainly because of its strong exfoliating properties. This will make the corn light and will remove it over time when used regularly. Soak your feet in a basin with warm water containing three tablespoons of baking soda. Use a pumice stone to clean the area after 30 minutes.
Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is very effective in removing or smoothening corns. For this, you can mix one teaspoon of baking soda, a little lemon juice and water to make a paste. Apply this on the area with a cotton wool and secure it firmly with an adhesive tape. Leave it overnight and wash off in warm water in the morning.
Garlic
Garlic is one of the simplest and easiest home remedies to remove corns on toes. Just rub a garlic clove on the affected area. Another way is to crush garlic cloves and to make a paste with salt. Apply this directly on the corns for faster relief.
Turpentine Oil
Turpentine oil has strong antiseptic property that makes it one among the most effective natural remedies to remove corns on toes. The oil can penetrate into the skin effectively, making the process easier. Apply this on the corn every night.
