Having Diabetes for a prolonged period can affect your foot. 8 tips to get rid of foot problems.

Use warm water and mild soap to wash your feet on a daily basis. Dry your feel well, especially between the toes.
Check for foot-related problems every day. It can be redness, calluses, sores, blisters, or any other issues.
Keep your feet moist by applying a good hydrating lotion if the skin on your feet feels dry.
Trim your toenails atleast once a week and ensure you do it properly with a nail clipper.
Avoid walking barefoot, even in the house. Instead, wear closed-toed shoes or slippers.
Before wearing shoes, always check and ensure that no objects are left inside.
It is a must to protect your feet from extreme temperatures- heat or cold.
Check with a podiatrist (a foot doctor) every 2 to 3 months.
