Ingredients
  • Pasta (penne) - 1 bowl

    Water - 3 glasses + for rinsing

    Olive oil - 1 tsp

    Salt to taste

    Mixed herbs - ½ tsp

    Butter (unsalted) - 3 tbsp

    Dried garlic powder - 1 tsp

    Mushroom (washed and cut) - 1 cup

    Maida (all-purpose flour) - 2 tbsp

    Milk - 1 bowl

    Pepper - to taste

    Oregano - 1½ tsp

    Cheese (grated) - 3 tbsp + for garnishing

    Parsley - for garnishing

How to Prepare
  • 1. Add water in a heated pan.

    2. Once it starts to boil, add olive oil.

    3. Then, add half a teaspoon of salt.

    4. Add half a teaspoon of mixed herbs.

    5. Then, add the penne pasta.

    6. Stir on and cover it with a lid.

    7. Allow it to cook for 8-10 minutes on medium flame until the pasta is cooked properly by stirring occasionally.

    8. Once done, drain the water thoroughly from the pasta in a colander.

    9. Immediately, rinse it with cold water and keep it aside.

    10. Add unsalted butter in a heated pan and allow it to melt.

    11. Add dried garlic powder.

    12. Then, add the cut mushroom.

    13. Sauté well for about 5 minutes on medium flame, until the mushroom is cooked.

    14. Add maida and mix well.

    15. Add milk and stir well for a minute.

    16. Add salt and crush pepper according to taste.

    17. Add one-and-a-half teaspoons of oregano and mix well.

    18. Stir well and allow it to cook for about 2 minutes.

    19. Add 3 tablespoons of grated cheese and mix well.

    20. Allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes until the mixture thickens.

    21. Add the cooked pasta and mix well.

    22. Transfer in a serving bowl.

    23. Garnish with grated cheese and parsley.

    24. Serve hot.
