Tawa naan is made of maida dough and is prepared on the stove top. The maida dough is made to ferment for a few hours to get the best results. Naan is generally served with a nice spicy side dish like paneer capsicum sabzi, bhindi masala, aloo gobi, etc.

The tawa naan is simple and quick to prepare once the dough is prepared and allowed to ferment. Keep in mind that naan cannot be prepared on induction and thus requires a gas stove. The other critical part is to prepare it on an iron tawa and not on a non-stick pan.

Naan, once prepared, can be seasoned with garlic butter or plain butter or ghee to make it utterly delicious. The tawa naan is also an ideal recipe for a small family lunch hosted by you. You can surprise your guests with this delicacy.
