Spa Review: Chavana Spa
Being a working woman is not easy. Working under tight deadlines and at the same time meeting the family needs can really stress you out. Last week at work was way too hectic for me. So, it was pretty much pre-decided over the weekend that, I have to go for a spa therapy. I was hunting for some good spas in Bangalore, when suddenly one of my friend (who already booked her appointment at the same spa) asked me to join her. She told me about the newly opened Chavana Spa at the Novotel. Without taking much time, I decided to visit the spa.
Located at a quite convenient location from my place, Chavana Spa clearly displayed its aura and ambience. As soon as I entered the spa, the staff received me with a warm welcome and offered jasmine tea as it relaxes and calms the mind. I was then given a choice of few oils to smell and select my favourite one. I was totally excited about the session since I could sense more pampering coming in.
The manager of the spa explained about the various services that they offer. After much discussion, I decided to opt for their Balinese massage. The cost of the various therapies at Chavana Spa was very much decent. What can be better than that!
After the initial formalities, I was taken to a changing room where I was given a separate locker. After changing, I was shifted to a spacious room that was beautifully decorated. The masseur was a friendly and cheerful girl. The lights were dimmed, soft music started and my pampering began.
The masseur slowly started the massage using some aromatic essential oils. These oils form the most important part of the massage since they aid relaxation and improves blood circulation in the body. It was simply an amazing relaxation experience. All my stress and tensions seemed to vanish away as she moved on with the massage. After about an hour or so, she waked me up and I felt completely rejuvenated. The masseur suggested not to take bath for atleast 24 hours so that the essential oils can be nicely absorbed by the skin. The peace and relaxation which I experienced after the session just cannot be put into words.
Overall, my experience at the Chavana Spa was completely enriching and rejuvenating.
